It's been a while...

Hello, I'm back! I have been quite busy these last 2 years, straightening out my life & what not! I am proud to say that I am 6 months away from graduating @ Indian Hills Community College with my A.A.S. in Computer Networking & Security :) I am quite happy about that. Right now I work full time 3rd shift @ Ottumwa's Fairfield Inn Marriott, & that is working out pretty nice. It's hard juggling full time job & full time school, but it will pay off in the end. I look forward to keeping everyone informed & posting regularly again...until next time!

Seattle's Skyscrapers - Check this out, it is beautiful!

Seattle has 38 new skyscrapers being built right now. They are reeally sweet. There are already lots of them completed, so this is like the "City of the Cranes" right now, because of how many cranes are deployed helping build these massive structures! The skyline is beautiful! There is even a building that during whatever holiday it is, the engineers have the colors on top of the building set, & they make designs by turning on certain offices lights! Like for Halloween, they had the orange lights on top on, & they had made a pumpkin face out of office lights. I'm trying to post the pictures here if I can find them!

PSP Slim Review

The PSP Slim, or PSP-2000 as Sony lists it, is the exact same portable console as before. Like Nintendo’s DS Lite verses the original DS, the majority of changes to the PSP are not hardware upgrades, but rather how the console feels, weighs, etc. Yes, I love my PSP-Slim. Yes, it is way lighter than the original. I really enjoy it, & it is sweet how you can just search for a wireless network, connect, & straight surf the web! It is neat! This thing can play movies, video games, and get online. I would say all in all i is a prety neat package.

Dalai Lama's All Smiles as He Receives Congressional Gold Medal

WASHINGTON — President Bush and the leaders of Congress put aside their differences Wednesday to bestow the nation's highest civilian honor upon the Dalai Lama, calling the exiled Tibetan religious leader a "warrior for peace." - Yup, this is pretty cool I thought. The 14th Dalai Lama has recieved a Congressional Gold Medal. He has been calling on the Chinese government to give Tibet autonomy, or, in other words, the right to self-government. He has been called a "one-man warrior for peace, & a one-man warrior for spirituality" by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. It seems that most people that were near him felt that his mere presence was something very special. Well duh, if you ask me. He's a Tibetan monk, & they are known for being extremely good monks, very good at meditating, very good at being quiet, some even giving up their speech for extended periods of time, in order to progress through their individual quests for self-enlightenment. At least Bush had the sense to award this man a Congressional Gold Medal, God only knows he hella deserves it.

Killzone Producer - "Blu-ray is not a luxury, but a necessity"

"It is not a luxury to have Blu-ray, but rather a necessity, as compression only gets you so far. All this processing power just means we can add more detail and create that Hollywood-type realism we're after."Ha, this is funny to me. Blu-ray technology is awesome! It gives us many more freedoms & routes to take with high-definition gaming! But clearly this is not a necessity, but a luxury, & a nice luxury at that. But obviously there are much more important issues at hand, like another person mentioned in the comments section of this digg, that 65 million Americans are without Health-Care, & to some it is nearly un-obtainable! This is something we should be contemplating, not whether or not we should be considering Blu-Ray a necessity or a luxury. This is just something we shouldn't argue about...come on people, what we need to be contemplating is how we're gonna IMPEACH George W. Bush & stop this damn Iraq war, these are the issues that have the utmost importance!

Mike Gravel's mad as hell, and he's not gonna take it anymore!

Personally, I think the troops DID die in vain, & I agree with Mike Gravel they are dying in vain right now as well!!!!! We need to IMPEACH our current "Commander-In-Chief" and get the Bush's & the Cheney's out of office they obviously do not belong they are partnered with the bankers', and what we need to do now is get rid of the Federal Reserve, take the Banker's out of power, take the Bush's out of power, & vote Mike Gravel into office so we have ourselves a real super decent Democrat that will lead us truthfully through his term! Who's with me?
